Boyi is the Jiangsu Chair Professor in Management, School of Business Administration, Nanjing University of Finance and Economics; Before joining NUFE, Boyi has been working on the management faculty of the London School of Economics and the University of Exeter for ten years. He is doing research in the intersectional fields of creative economy, digital innovation and sustainability. His work focuses on the relational approach to social and organizational change, with a particular interest on the creative businesses of developing contexts. He teaches strategic management, the theoretical foundations of information systems, innovation and creativity, innovation in developing countries, and research design and methodologies etc. He supervises master and doctoral students on these subjects. Boyi is currently serving on the council board of Global China Academy (GCA), the organizing committee of Global China Dialogues (GCD), the academic board of the International Society of Creative Management (ISCM).
